Two Professors Secure Grant to Foster Interest in Technology and the Arts

(Aug. 22, 2015) — The American Association of University Women (AAUW), the nation’s leading organization promoting equity and education for female students, recently awarded $7,000 to Armstrong State University Art professors Rachel Green and Angela Horne for their Community Action Grant proposal, “FashionTECH: Engaging Girls in STEAM through Fashion.”

University Receives $1.1 Million Grant for Student Support Services

(August 19, 2015) – U.S. Congressman Buddy Carter recently announced that Armstrong State University has been awarded a $1.1 million TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) grant from the U.S. Department of Education.

University Signs MOU With China’s Yichun University

(Aug. 15, 2015) – Armstrong State University officials signed a memorandum of understanding with Yichun University, located in Yichun City, China, on August 12, making it easier for faculty and students from both institutions to exchange teaching and learning opportunities.
