Pre-Pharmacy Club hosts four pharmacy school representatives.
The Pre-Pharmacy Club (Advisor:  Ms. Suzanne Carpenter, Associate Professor of Chemistry) and the Department of Chemistry and Physics hosted four regional pharmacy schools during the fall semester.  The Club organized the visits by a.) Ms. Jordana Stephens-Berry, Director of Admissions at Mercer University College of Pharmacy and Health Science, b.) Ms. Lynn Pitts, Georgia Admissions Recruiter, Georgia PCOM School of Pharmacy, c.) Ms. Rachel Ridley, Assistant to the Dean of Admissions, South University School of Pharmacy, and d.) Dr. Alan Wolfgang, Asst. Dean of Student Affairs, UGA College of Pharmacy.  The sessions were designed for the pharmacy school representatives to give a short overview of the admissions processes and requirements of their respective institutions followed by a question and answer session.  Following the presentation, students were encouraged to meet individually and in small groups with the pharmacy school delegates.  The Pre-Pharmacy Club is a recognized student organization on Armstrong’s campus for undergraduates who plan to pursue careers in pharmacy.  For information, contact Professor Carpenter:
