An environment of curiosity, creativity, and passion.  Students and faculty in the Armstrong Atlantic State University Department of Art, Music & Theatre (Armstrong AMT) draw inspiration from the world round to create and sustain an enthusiastic and challenging learning environment for all.

From textbooks to textiles, playscripts to the playhouse, concertos to concert halls, distinguished AMT faculty members facilitate the learning process for each and every student through dedicated instruction and performance practice execution.

The Metal Artistry of West Africa: From the Kole Collection
April 2 through May 30: Armstrong presents The Metal Artistry of West Africa: From the Kole Collection art exhibition. Selected from the hundreds of African works in the collection of Don and Kaye Kole, this exhibit reveals a truly sophisticated art culture that developed in Western Africa for centuries before European traders discovered these miraculous jewels.

April 14-25: AMT presents Chronic Hyperreality, a Spring 2014 Senior Graduation Art Exhibition at downtown Savannah's Ashmore Gallery

Letters from Composers: Musicians Speak
April 24: Letters from Composers: Musicians Speak. AMT's Emily Grundstad-Hall, D.M.A., soprano, and Benjamin Warsaw, D.M.A., piano, will perform works by Schubert, Schumann, Bach, Debussy, Puccini, and Mozart.

April 25: Stephen Medlar, percussion, performs a student recital at 2:30 p.m.

Armstrong University Singers
April 26: The Armstrong University Singers perform a scholarship fundraiser concert at 7:30 p.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 1802 Abercorn Street, Savannah 31401.
