Art & Art Education Program
Studio course work in ceramics/pottery, drawing, painting, photography, digital design and fiber arts, as combined with an art history sequence and underpinned by a thorough liberal arts platform, provide the ambitious student an excellent foundation on which a serious art career can be built. Visual art students at Armstrong enjoy abundant opportunities to study and create art amidst a bustling local gallery scene and within the scope of our competitive undergraduate program.

Beyond local boundaries, students have regular opportunities to participate in study-abroad trips to Argentina.
Exhibit Opportunities Abound - Visual Arts students at Armstrong have many opportunities to display their artwork, including our annual Student Government Association-sponsored competitive student juried exhibition, springtime Outdoor Art Show and Children's Arts Festival, senior graduation exhibitions, campus festivals, and various student art organization events, including a student graphic design organization: Design Matters.
