Online Education

The Department of Radiologic Sciences has two levels of online course work. One is a Bachelor's degree for individuals who are already registered in Radiography, Radiation Therapy or Nuclear Medicine, and are completing their degree (the Bridge Program). The other level includes individual courses in the major that can only be taken online if a student is in one of the entry-level programs.

For the Bridge program, all of the 3000 and 4000-level RADS and 2000 HLPR courses necessary to complete the degree are online, with the exception of clinical education courses. If a student elects the management track, there are five courses from the Health Science Department that are not available online. If the student elects the management track, it would be the student's responsibility to attend these on-campus courses.

For students in any of the five entry-level tracks, there are a number of courses that are only offered online. So all students in the department will do some level of online coursework. Typically, students in entry-level tracks take five to ten online courses over the five semesters.
