Students in the Department recently raised over $3800 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society as part of the Savannah Light the Night Walk.  Great job students!

Congratulations to Sareh Sabripour who was recently awarded the Varian Radiation Therapy Student Scholarship from the American Society of Radiologic Technologists. Sareh is currently a student in the Radiation Therapy Program and will graduate in May 2011. Way to go Sareh!
Faculty and students recently attended the RT in DC event as part of the ASRT's effort to lobby for passage of the CARE Bill. During their stay in Washington D.C., faculty members Laura Malsby and Sharon Gilliard-Smith, along with students Sweeney Patel and Parita Patel, presented GA Representative John Barrow with a special award for introducing the bill in the Congress.
