Overview

The Certificate in Adult Education and Human Resource Development leads to a State of Georgia Board of Regents certificate in Adult Education.

Required courses

The program of study consists of four required courses totaling 12 semester hours.  Individuals, with the approval of their advisor, will select four of the following courses:        

  • ADED7100 - History & Theory of Adult Education
  • ADED7110 - Psychology of the Adult Learner
  • ADED7120 - Program Planning and Evaluation
  • ADED7130 - Cultural Diversity in Adult Education
  • ADED7160 - Community Development & Personal Leadership
  • ADED7170 - Research & Grant Writing in Adult Learning
  • ADED7180 - Cultural Diversity and Community Development
  • HRDV7400 - Human Resource Development Theory & Practice
  • HRDV7410 - Organizational Theory & Practice
  • HRDV7420 - Management & Leadership Behavior
  • HRDV7430 - Structure of Human Resource Framework
