The DeSoto Beach Hotel occupies prime beachfront property and offers direct, private beach access within steps of the Atlantic Ocean; the property is centrally located between the Tybee Island pier and lighthouse. There is free parking and a refreshing outdoor pool as well as complimentary beach chairs, umbrellas, and picnic tables in the pool/sundeck area. Each comfortable room offers free wi-fi, free cable with HBO, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, and in-room safes.

There is no free transportation available from the airport. Cab fare from the Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport is approximately $55.00 each way for one person with a $5.00 charge for each extra rider. Please note: due to increasing fuel prices, cab fares may fluctuate and cannot be guaranteed. Please call ahead for current rates. A private vehicle is highly recommended for exploring areas just beyond Tybee Island.
