Student Learning Outcomes

The Office of Research and Assessment for Student Affairs is responsible for implementing and monitoring the cycle of assessment for the purpose of improving programs and services throughout the Division of Student Affairs.
In alignment with Armstrong’s Strategic Goal 2, to “ensure that transformative student learning occurs inside and outside the classroom,” directors and staff within the Division of Student Affairs plan and review their assessment efforts each year to maximize learning opportunities for our students.
Beginning in May, assessment results are compiled, analyzed and utilized to make program and service improvements for the following academic year. Assessment efforts are also reviewed within departments mid-year for any immediate changes that may be needed in the following semester.
