Armstrong hosts online events throughout the academic year. Consider ways to enhance courses by having students attend online events as part of a class or as part of an assignment. Simply send out the event links posted under Announcements on the Online & Blended Learning website to students in advance.

Global Online Speaker Series (GOSS)

This online speaker series invites a presenter from a different country each month to discuss their country, university, Armstrong’s Common Read, and their field of specialization.

  • Initiative for Civic Engagement (ICE)
    Some of the ICE speakers throughout the academic year will be online with presentations focusing on civic engagement, diversity, and engaged citizenship.
     
  • Online International Research Showcase, part of the Student Research Symposium
    Students will present the results of creative and scholarly work to their peers and community as part of a one-day online international research showcase with several universities around the world
