Fall Commencement Day FAQs

Q: Will I need to attend the Graduation Fair prior to the graduation ceremony?

A: The Graduation Fair is designed to assist graduating students in receiving details and information about Graduation Day.  Representatives will be available to answer questions graduates may have about graduation from Armstrong.  If you are unable to attend, you may pick up your name card (so that your name is read at commencement) and an informational sheet from the Office of the Registrar and you may get your cap and gown from the bookstore.

Q: What time do I need to arrive at the graduation ceremony?

A: Please plan to arrive at least one hour before the processional begins to walk.

Q: Where can my guests and I park? Do I have to pay for parking?

A: Please visit the location, directions and parking page to learn more about parking during graduation. Parking will be free and available on the day of commencement.

Q: If I plan to complete my degree requirements during the summer semester, which commencement ceremony should I attend? Spring or Fall?

A: You must attend the Fall commencement ceremony if you plan to complete your degree requirements during the summer semester.

Q: What adornments am I permitted to wear in addition to my cap and gown during the commencement ceremony?

A: There are no restrictions for wearing cords, stoles, or medallions.  Approval is not needed for additional adornments.
