AARP Sixth Annual Women's Scholarship Program
The program provides funds to low-income women age 50 and older who are seeking new job skills, training, and educational opportunities to support themselves and their families.  To be eligible for a scholarship, applicants must be a U.S. citizen and be able to demonstrate financial need.  Scholarship awards range from $500 to $5,000.

Abbott and Fenner Scholarship Program
The A&F Scholarships are available to all high school juniors and seniors as well as all students currently registered at an accredited post secondary institution. The application deadline is June 14, 2013.

AES Engineers Scholarship
This scholarship is an essay contest and the award is $500. The deadline to apply is October 4, 2013.

A&FScholarship
The A&F Scholarships is an essay contest available to all high school juniors and seniors as well as all students currently registered in any accredited post secondary institution. The award is $1000 and the deadline to apply is June 14, 2013.

American Legion
The American Legion offers a number of scholarships and other resources to assist young people in their pursuit of higher education. There are opportunities for everyone, including kin of wartime veterans and participants in Legion programs.

AMVETS National Service Foundation
AMVETS annu­ally awards schol­ar­ships to veterans/active mil­i­tary, their sons, daugh­ters or grand­chil­dren. A son, daugh­ter or grand­child of a deceased vet­eran is also eli­gi­ble. Awarded on the basis of aca­d­e­mic excel­lence and finan­cial need, the schol­ar­ships go to deserv­ing high school seniors, high school JROTC stu­dents and vet­er­ans pur­su­ing a higher education.

Army Emergency Relief Spouse and Children Scholarship Program
This program provides three separate scholarships for the spouses and dependent children of active or retired Army Soldiers. Scholarship awards are based on financial need, as evidenced by income, family size and special circumstances.

Army Nurse Corps Memorial Scholarship Program
The Army Nurse corps Association (ANCA) is a scholarship program for baccalaureate or higher degree nursing students.  In 2013, ANCA will be selecting up to 15 students to receive $3,000 scholarships.  For 2013, the scholarships will be presented in memory of Captain Bruce K. Clark, a member of the United States Army Nurse Corps who, in May 2012, gave his life for his country during his deployment to Afghanistan.  He was a graduate of The College of Brockport State University of New York and served previous assignments at Tripler Army Medical Center, Honolulu, HI and William Beaumont Army Medical Center, El Paso, TX.

The Aspiring Police Officer Scholarship
This $100 scholarship is open to any student who is pursuing a career in law enforcement. To apply the student needs to fill out the application and submit a 200 word response to the essay question; "Why do you want go into law enforcement?"  The deadline to apply is August 1. 

Atlanta Dental Spa Scholarship
The program provides a $1000 scholarship annually based on merit of a personal essay.

Campus Explorer Exclusive Scholarships
This scholarship is a monthly $1,000 giveaway, designed to help students pay for their higher-education expenses.  Every month, Campus Explorer will announce a new scholarship and a new way to win.  A winner will be randomly selected from the entrants.

College Student Pre-Commissioning Initiative
Awarded to qualifying sophomore and junior students by the U.S. Coast Guard.

Foreclosure.com Scholarship
Five winners will be selected. The first place winner will receive $5,000 and the other four winners will be awarded $1,000.  Winners are based on the merit of their essays.  The deadline to apply is December 15, 2013.

Get Prepped LSAT Prep Scholarship
Prelaw Scholarship is for undergraduates interested in applying to law school. $1,000 grants are awarded twice yearly.

Georgia Heritage Federal Credit Union
Georgia Heritage Federal Credit Union is offering a $1,000 scholarship to a graduating high school senior who will be attending an accredited college, university or technical school within six months of receiving notification of the scholarship award and a $1,000 continuing education scholarship to a student currently enrolled in or accepted to an accredited college or technical school. Applicants must be members of the credit union.

The Georgia Woman of the Year Committee, Inc
Offering a $1000 scholarship for women currently attending Georgia colleges and universities. Nominations for the scholarships may be made by a faculty member in any college, university or technical college in Georgia. A letter describing the assessment of the nominee's qualifications, with any supporting information, should be e-mailed to gawomanoftheyear@gmail.com  or mailed to the Georgia Woman of the Year Committee's scholarship committee, by Thursday, August 1, 2013.

Hazing Scholarship
All students that are enrolled in any accredited college or university that has a greek social setting may apply.  You must be in good standing at your school with a minimum 2.0 GPA or C average.

The Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF) is the nation's leading organization supporting Hispanic higher education.

HubShout Online Marketing Scholarship
Two $1000 scholarships will be awarded to students on the path to a business or marketing career.  You must be a sophomore and have a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Institute for Humane Studies Scholarships
Humane Studies Fellowships are awarded to graduate students and outstanding undergraduates embarking on liberty-advancing careers in ideas. The fellowships support study in a variety of fields, including economics, philosophy, law, political science, history, and sociology.

Jesse Brown Memorial Youth Scholarship Program
The Jesse Brown Memorial Youth Scholarship Program encourages young volunteers to play active roles in the Department of Veterans Affairs Voluntary Service (VAVS) programs. It recognizes outstanding young volunteers who give of their time by awarding annual scholarships that may be used to continue their education.

JustJobs Scholarship
The JustJobs Scholarships award $1,000 three times annually to full time undergraduate or graduate students from registered schools in the US.  The application deadlines for 2012 and 2013 are April 30, August 31, and December 31.

National Physical Science Consortium Scholarship Program
For students who aspire to a doctoral degree and career in the physical sciences and related fields, you are a potential National Physical Science Consortium Fellow.

National Scholars Honor Society
The National Scholars Honor Society grants scholarship to highly-qualified achievers from all academic pursuits.

Navy Officer Health Professions Scholarship Program

Awards scholarships to children of victims of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, including those of police, fire safety, or medical personnel killed or suffering debilitating injuries.

Travel Nursing Education Scholarship
Every 6 months, TravelNursing.org will grant a $1,000 scholarship to a potential nurse who provides the best essay on what they would like to accomplish in the medical field during their career. 

Ty Cobb Scholarship Program
Awards scholarships to undergraduate students who are residents of the State of Georgia, have demonstrated financial need, and have completed at least 30 semester hours of academic credit with an average of "B" or higher. Students with higher academic averages and the greatest need will be given priority. A completed application form including the specific circumstances which cause you to request financial assistance and a copy of your tax return, a letter of recommendation from your academic dean or advisor and official transcripts of all college studies including spring semester grades must be post marked by June 15.

VFW Voice of Democracy
The Voice of Democracy Audio-Essay Competion is open to students in grades 9-12, who are enrolled in a public, private or parochial high school or home study program in the United States and its territories. The deadline for submissions for the 2013-2014 program is November 1, 2013.

U.S. Coast Guard College Student Pre-Commissioning Initiative
The CSPI program guarantees training at Officer Candidate School (OCS) upon successful completion of all program requirements.
