AARP Sixth Annual Women's Scholarship Program
The program provides funds to low-income women age 50 and older who are seeking new job skills, training, and educational opportunities to support themselves and their families. To be eligible for a scholarship, applicants must be a U.S. citizen and be able to demonstrate financial need. Scholarship awards range from $500 to $5,000.
Adventures in Education (AIE)

The American Legion offers a number of scholarships and other resources to assist young people in their pursuit of higher education. There are opportunities for everyone, including kin of wartime veterans and participants in Legion programs.
AMVETS National Service Foundation
AMVETS annually awards scholarships to veterans/active military, their sons, daughters or grandchildren. A son, daughter or grandchild of a deceased veteran is also eligible. Awarded on the basis of academic excellence and financial need, the scholarships go to deserving high school seniors, high school JROTC students and veterans pursuing a higher education.
Army Emergency Relief Spouse and Children Scholarship Program
This program provides three separate scholarships for the spouses and dependent children of active or retired Army Soldiers. Scholarship awards are based on financial need, as evidenced by income, family size and special circumstances.
Army Nurse Corps Memorial Scholarship Program
The Army Nurse corps Association (ANCA) is a scholarship program for baccalaureate or higher degree nursing students. In 2013, ANCA will be selecting up to 15 students to receive $3,000 scholarships. For 2013, the scholarships will be presented in memory of Captain Bruce K. Clark, a member of the United States Army Nurse Corps who, in May 2012, gave his life for his country during his deployment to Afghanistan. He was a graduate of The College of Brockport State University of New York and served previous assignments at Tripler Army Medical Center, Honolulu, HI and William Beaumont Army Medical Center, El Paso, TX.
Atlanta Dental Spa Scholarship
The program provides a $1000 scholarship annually based on merit of a personal essay.
Campus Explorer Exclusive Scholarships
This scholarship is a monthly $1,000 giveaway, designed to help students pay for their higher-education expenses. Every month, Campus Explorer will announce a new scholarship and a new way to win. A winner will be randomly selected from the entrants.

CZ Jewels Fashion Design Scholarship
The CZ Jewels Fashion Design Scholarship is open to high school seniors and any student enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program by May 1, 2014 at any accredited U.S. College, University or art or fashion institute. This scholarship is an essay contest and the award is $1000. The deadline to apply is April 15, 2014.

Emerge addresses the need to support deserving women who have demonstrated a deep commitment to both reaching their educational goals and giving back to their communities. Prelaw Scholarship is for undergraduates interested in applying to law school. $1,000 grants are awarded twice yearly.
Georgia Heritage Federal Credit Union
Georgia Heritage Federal Credit Union is offering a $1,000 scholarship to a graduating high school senior who will be attending an accredited college, university or technical school within six months of receiving notification of the scholarship award and a $1,000 continuing education scholarship to a student currently enrolled in or accepted to an accredited college or technical school. Applicants must be members of the credit union.
All students that are enrolled in any accredited college or university that has a greek social setting may apply. You must be in good standing at your school with a minimum 2.0 GPA or C average.

The Jesse Brown Memorial Youth Scholarship Program encourages young volunteers to play active roles in the Department of Veterans Affairs Voluntary Service (VAVS) programs. It recognizes outstanding young volunteers who give of their time by awarding annual scholarships that may be used to continue their education.
Job-Applications.com is providing a $1,000 scholarship for working parents to help pay for college tuition costs. To apply, students must simply write a 600-1000 word essay on balancing parenthood, working, and excelling in school.
2014 Julian & Jan Hester Memorial Scholarship
The Community Bankers Association of Georgia (CBA) will award $1000 scholarships to four deserving students. This scholarship is open to Georgia high school seniors entering a Georgia university in the fall 2014 semester. The applications must be submitted through a CBA member bank. In addition to the application students must also submit an essay, activity record, a qualifications page signed by teacher and a high school transcript with SAT/ACT scores listed. The application deadline is April 4, 2014.
The JustJobs Scholarships award $1,000 three times annually to full time undergraduate or graduate students from registered schools in the US. The application deadlines for 2012 and 2013 are April 30, August 31, and December 31.

SunTrust Off to College Scholarship Sweepstakes
Students may enter to win a $1,000 scholarship for education expenses. Registration is open and the first drawing will be held on October 25th. Fifteen drawings will be held and one winner will be chosen every two weeks from October 25, 2013 through May 9, 2014. One entry per drawing, but students can register again for EACH drawing period.
