Office of Graduate Admissions

First Time Graduate Students: Admission Requirements

Admission to Graduate Programs differs from undergraduate admission as admission decisions at the graduate level are made by the individual academic departments and requirements vary by program. Individual graduate programs have their own sets of requirements. The graduate catalog pdf is the final authority on requirements for your program of interest.

Standard Requirements For All Programs

  • $30 non-refundable application fee
  • Submit a Graduate Application pdf
  • Submit your Immunization records
  • Submit two official transcripts from ALL schools attended - bachelor's and graduate.  Original transcripts are required even if the courses from one school appear on the transcript of another. NOTE: All students with undergraduate or graduate degrees granted in countries outside the United States are required to have an outside international credential evaluation done.  See the Acceptable Evaluation Agencies page for a list of agencies you may use.
  • Submit supporting documents for the individual program to which you are applying. Application requirements vary by program.

IMPORTANT:  Applications and all supporting documentation must be submitted directly to the Office of Admissions located in Victor Hall, except as noted below for College of Education students.

Please note: Your application will be complete once the Office of Admissions receives all of the required documents for your program.

College of Education

College of Education (COE) students should submit their Application and $30.00 non-refundable application fee, original transcripts from all colleges/universities attended, immunizations, and Lawful Presence documentation to the Office of Admissions.
