Tiffany Thornton
Undergraduate Enrollment Counselor
Tiffany.Thornton@armstrong.edu

I am a proud graduate of Armstrong State University. I completed my B.A. in English, Professional Communication and M.Ed. in Adult Education and Community Leadership. For two years, I served in the Department of Student Life, where I was responsible for assisting student organizations, student government and student leadership programs across campus. In 2013, I began my current role as undergraduate enrollment counselor for the Macon and Southwest Georgia territories. I enjoy working with prospective students and sharing from my personal experience all of the opportunities and resources Armstrong provides for its students.

Hello! I’m excited that you are considering furthering your education at Armstrong.  My name is Henry and I am the Enrollment Counselor for the Augusta and Southeast territories. Originally from Louisiana, I was raised in southwest Mississippi and attended Hinds Community College and Mississippi College, earning my A.A. and B.S in Public Relations. Prior to my position here at Armstrong I served as Assistant Scholarship Coordinator/Recruiter at Hinds Community College in Raymond, MS.  While I am new to the state of Georgia, I have enjoyed getting to know many of you at college fairs and high school visits across the state. I’m thrilled to be a part of the admissions team at Armstrong and look forward to working with prospective students and their families. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions about becoming a Pirate!

Rolinda.Cary@armstrong.edu

Greetings, my name is Rolinda and it is my honor and pleasure to serve you as the Transfer and Adult Enrollment Counselor. I am passionate about assisting others with reaching their educational goals; thus I have worked in higher education for 16 years and have spent the last 7 at Armstrong. I have a B.S. in Multidisciplinary Studies, with a concentration in Education and Psychology, along with a minor in Counseling from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. The majority of my higher education experience has been in Admissions and Recruiting. As a former nontraditional transfer student myself, I understand the perils of transitioning into a new college. My goal is to make your transition into Armstrong as seamless as possible. I look forward to personally meeting and assisting you in achieving your educational goals.

I graduated from Armstrong in 2005 with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and a minor in French. I began teaching English as a Second Language at Savannah Technical College immediately after graduating and soon became the Assistant International Student Advisor. After about 2 years of teaching and advising part-time, I transitioned to Savannah Tech’s full-time International Student Advisor. In 2009, I accepted my current position as the International Student Advisor at Armstrong State University. I thoroughly enjoy working with international students and in the field of international education.
